Ingredients

2 ¼ cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 ½ tsp salt

1 cup butter, softened

1 ½ cup brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1 ½ tsp vanilla

2 large eggs

2 cups dark chocolate chips

1 ½ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

In a medium bowl whisk the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla together until creamy. Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well until the batter becomes slightly fluffy and creamy.

At a low speed, slowly add the flour mixture. Let the flour fully incorporate into the dough. With a spatula, mix in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until they are evenly distributed into the cookie dough.

Prep two large baking sheets with parchment paper. Using an ice cream scoop or regular spoon, scoop round balls of dough on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Place the baking sheet in the fridge for 15 minutes and pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.

After 15 minutes, remove the cookies from the fridge and transfer them to the oven. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
