Honey Roasted Carrots



Looking for an easy way to spruce up your carrots for Thanksgiving? This delicious and simple recipe will make you want a second serving. Or, in need of a healthy but flavorful snack? These carrots will satisfy anyone's munchies.


Ingredients

2 lbs carrots

1 tsp salt

1 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp cinnamon

Olive Oil

Honey


Instructions

Prepare a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.


Cut the carrots in half, length-wise. For very large, thick carrots, cut into fourths. Place the carrots on the baking sheet.


Drizzle the carrots with olive oil until they are very thinly coated. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and cinnamon. Drizzle the honey over the carrots being sure to coat the carrots well. With a pair of tongs toss the carrots until they are completely coated in the seasoning and honey.


Place the carrots in the oven and bake for 30-45 minutes or until the carrots are tender.


Serve along with your Thanksgiving dinner or as the perfect fall side to any meal.
